<p style="line-height:1.38"><span style="font-size:11pt; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-east-asian:normal; font-variant-position:normal; white-space:pre-wrap"><span style="font-family:Arial"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-weight:400"><span style="font-style:normal"><span style="text-decoration:none">Historical figure, legend, archetype &mdash; Padmasambhava is one of our more mysterious and challenging Buddhist ancestors. Padmasambhava&rsquo;s story conveys much about the uncompromising practice of the Dharma in relation to tenacious internal and external forces.&nbsp;</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

<p style="line-height:1.38"><span style="font-size:11pt; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-east-asian:normal; font-variant-position:normal; white-space:pre-wrap"><span style="font-family:Arial"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-weight:400"><span style="font-style:normal"><span style="text-decoration:none">Internally, we find Padmasambhava deep in meditation in the midst of the cremation grounds, facing the reality of impermanence and the poisons of greed, hatred and delusion, and finding the Dharma there.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

<p style="line-height:1.38"><span style="font-size:11pt; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-east-asian:normal; font-variant-position:normal; white-space:pre-wrap"><span style="font-family:Arial"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-weight:400"><span style="font-style:normal"><span style="text-decoration:none">Externally, we see Padmasambhava confronting the politics of his time, and the destructive forces that were undermining to the establishment of Buddhism in Tibet.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
