<p>Join New England Ambedkarites and Aryaloka for <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhammachakra_Pravartan_Din#:~:text=This%2… Pravartan Day</a>, which is the celebration of the mass conversions of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalit">Dalit</a> people's from Hinduism to Buddhism led by <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B._R._Ambedkar">Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar</a> on Oct 14, 1956. </p>
<p>The Triratna Buddhist Order and Community has close ties to this Indian movement of liberation through the many Mitras and members of our Order that live and work there for the benefit of their communities.</p>
<p>This celebration will include talks by Dh Maitirveer Nagarjuna of the Triratna Buddhist Order and Harvard Divinity School, Sukhadeo Thorat of the Indian Institute of Dalit Studies, and Christopher Queen of Harvard Divinity School. Light refreshments will be served.</p>
