 \n \n  \n \n \n \n Addiction creates a great deal
of suffering in the lives of those it impacts. Bud

at risk for addiction and mental health challenge
 s.  Resiliency factors give us the tools to find a

mental health. There are risk factors we cannot c
ontrol\, such as genetics and environmental condit
ions. We can also engage in behaviors that place u
s at risk for undermining our recovery. We can cho
ose to increase resiliency factors\, which offset
the detrimental impact of risk factors. \n \n \n \
n Buddhism offers us wise teachings and practices
that act as resiliency factors that bolster our co
