How to free yourself from group thinking and become independent
Being a Buddhist does not mean being part of a religious group, following its ideas and practices without question. It means learning how to see the world as it is, through your own eyes, and acting from that vision.
This is a hard thing to do, as our dependence on being part of a group can be extremely strong. True individuals are therefore rare.
In a world where memes, headlines and false information can influence and manipulate our thinking like never before, it is important to find our ground, think critically, and practice kindness in our communication with others.
On this six-week course we’ll explore what it means to emancipate oneself from the need to belong to a group and become an individual, and how the spiritual community is not just another group, but a free association of individuals.

All are welcome to our weekly gathering which includes led meditation, a short talk and discussion. These supportive and friendly community evenings are perfect for getting started with meditation and Buddhism, or for going deeper in your practice. This is a wonderful way to make friends and to explore deeper meaning in one’s life.
