Kamalasiri is originally from suburban Philadelphia and moved to New Hampshire in 2000.  She currently lives in Exeter, NH.  Kamalasiri has been part of the Aryaloka Sangha since she first walked through the doors in 2001.  She was ordained into the Triratana Buddhist Order at Akashavana, Spain in 2017.  The name she was given means ‘She who has the beauty of a lotus’.  Kamalasiri served on the Aryaloka Board of Directors for many years and has been a member of  several other kulas since she came to Aryaloka.  She is currently working with the Budget Kula and co-facilitates the Women’s Mitra Program.  Sharing the dharma with mitras brings her great joy and helps Kamalasiri deepen her own spiritual practice.
