Introducing Sangha Connections: Giving and Receiving Together

There are many reasons I give to Aryaloka: I give because I get so much from being part of the sangha/community at Aryaloka. Most of my life I have been looking for a community that is focused around caring and compassion; one that also stimulates interest in me to explore further depths. Every time I enter the premises, I feel the effects of over 40 years of positive presence and Dharma practice at Aryaloka — this feels like a karmic momentum that supports me in my practice. And because of the people at Aryaloka, I have the trust to challenge myself.
From Aryaloka’s founding in 1985, hundreds of people have generously given of their time, talent and money to build and grow our thriving sangha (spiritual community) and the beautiful facility we enjoy today. It has truly been a grassroots project. Thank you to all who have given and continue to give!

The winter has been cold and snowy. And no doubt, high temperatures will return this summer. But thanks to Aryaloka’s Energy Initiative (heat pumps and solar panels) in 2025, the domes have been warm this winter and will be comfortably cool again this summer.
