Dharma Day!

Registration is closed for this event

Dharma Day | July 8, 10-4

Come together this summer for a day of community, engaging Dharma practice and fun! Dharma Day is the annual celebration of the Buddha’s teaching. The day is a remembrance of the Buddha’s decision to teach, and a rejoicing in the many forms that the teaching has taken.

Come for all or part of the day as you see fit. Attendance is free, but please do RSVP so we have a sense of how many people to expect. Please plan on bringing a vegetarian dish for the potluck if you can. If you would like to volunteer for part of the day please email info@aryaloka.com to learn how you can help!

From this Year’s Dharma Day Team:

Please join us in person or online on Zoom for a Dharma Day Celebration Saturday, July 8th from 10am to 4pm at Aryaloka!

Dharma Day Celebrations around the world provide an opportunity to reflect, practice and celebrate with others the gifts that have been freely handed down through the centuries from the first Turning of The Wheel by the Buddha Shakyamuni.

One of the many inspiring Dharma teachings is Siddhartha Gautama’s Going Forth on what he called the Noble Quest. "Having thus gone forth in search of what might be skillful, seeking the unexcelled state of sublime peace,” he began his Noble Quest which we are still benefiting from today!

What is living a Dharma Life like for you?
What, to you, feels like the Noble Quest?
How has Dharma practice supported your going forth on the Noble Quest.?

Whether you have been a Buddhist for decades or are just beginning your journey please join us for Dharma Day! Please feel free to bring family and friends — all are welcome!
