It's an opportunity to reflect upon the final days of the Buddha, and the great matters of Enlightenment and Death. It is also a time when we remember those we've lost, and reflect upon the impact of impermanence in our own lives and communities. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>

Even amid the messy process of dying, many patients and family seem to find ease, peace and startling insights. It certainly seems to realign and refocus people to what they most care about. The Buddha’s teachings encourage us to treat every moment as though this could be our last. Together we’ll explore what can be learned by living with a tender awareness of our terminal condition.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br />

She has worked in palliative care, oncology and in the Medical intensive Care Unit, where she supported families and patients facing the sudden reality of an unexpected death or terminal diagnosis. She has been part of a team at the hospital supporting frontline workers caring for dying patients throughout COVID. Her experience has revealed the tremendous grace and openings that can happen during these critical times. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
