Full Moon Puja

Full Moon Puja — March 12, 7-8:30pm

Back by popular request, Aryaloka’s full moon pujas are part of our 40th anniversary celebration calendar. 

It is a traditional Buddhist custom to gather on the full moon and practice together. On these magical evenings that are either on the full moon, or as close to the full moon as our schedule will allow, we gather in community to meditate and chant.

Puja (worship) is a devotional practice that includes recitations in english, mantras in sanskrit, verses in pali, and Dharma readings. All or most is in call and response, so this is suitable for those who have never practiced puja before.

Our driveway: Driving around Heartwood Circle you'll see a sign for Aryaloka; take a right at the sign and then bear right, following the long driveway that goes into the woods. Please do not bear left into our neighbor's driveway (their house is also a dome and sometimes people get them mixed up). Also please drive around the circle slowly, as there are often walkers in the neighborhood.  The main entrance to the center is between the two attached domes.
 

How are we coming together safely?

• If you know you have been exposed to Covid-19 or if you have had Covid-19 within a five day period of the event’s start-time, we ask that you not attend in-person.
• Masks are optional unless otherwise stated. Please wear a mask if you have recovered from Covid-19 and are still between days 6 and 10 from your first positive test.
• If you have cold or flu symptoms, we ask that you do not attend in-person.
• We have installed new air purifiers with virus-destroying technology! 

Zoom options are available for some events. Transfer of fees or refunds are also available for illness or illness-preventative related absence. Please email info@aryaloka.org if you have any questions about our safety protocols.
