Aryaloka's 40th anniversary celebration, June 21, 10-4
On this day we will come together to celebrate Aryaloka’s 40th anniversary with special guest Dh. Nagabodhi. There will be a talk by Nagabodhi, a period of rejoicing and thanks, a message about what’s to come from the Aryaloka Board, the release of a new Vajra Bell magazine, Some special afternoon activities (surprises!) and a custom Aryaloka puja written by Dh. Gunopeta and Dh. Sravaniya!
The theme of our 40th anniversary celebrations is ‘Aryaloka as a Garden’. Aryaloka as a place and as a community of people, is a living, breathing ecosystem that has evolved and been cultivated by various hands. As envisioned in the White Lotus Sutra, individuals are watered by the rain of the Dharma, and like plants, are nourished and grow together, each in their unique way. Please join us as we celebrate this wondrous garden!
Please RSVP below, and bring something to share for the vegetarian potluck if you can. All are welcome, whether you’ve been associated with Aryaloka for many years, or even if you haven’t been before!

Important Details:
We encourage you to carpool with friends who are attending to help with the parking situation at Aryaloka. If you need a handicap spot at Aryaloka, please let me know by emailing info@aryaloka.org . Some of you will be directed to park on Heartwood circle and Shady Lane. When doing so, please do not block driveways and leave plenty of space in the road for passage of other vehicles, including emergency vehicles.
We recommend showing up between 9:30 and 10 to park and get situated. The first half hour of the event is for people to arrive and mingle, but please do make an effort to arrive before 10.
Please bring an offering for the vegetarian potluck if you can.
We are limiting numbers in the shrine room for the Aryaloka puja to 40 and will have audio/video set up in the yoga room for overflow.
In addition to the bathrooms in the domes, there will be portable toilets in the parking lot near the dumpster and you can also use the bathrooms in Akashaloka for this event.
We have many volunteers to help with the day, but if you’re able to help stack a chair or two at the end of the day, that would be really helpful.
